The IV Support Infant/Child Armboard offers a more custom fit as the IV Support is easy to adjust, to fit infants and children. Unlike some IV supports that utilise harsh tape that irritates the skin, the HAND-AID IV Wrist Support eliminates the need for tape. The IV Support is also designed to help limit infections on an IV site. It can also be used to stabilise a patient's wrist or if an antecubital view is being accessed by a forearm or elbow. Halyard's IV supports also have a large plastic base that can be cleaned with a quick wipe to help prevent cross-contamination.
