Alprep® Pads are a two-in-one cleaning and debridement tool. The pad has two sides, distinguished by two colours; the dark grey side is used for loosening, while the light grey is used for absorbing and capturing. The light grey foam can be used to loosen first or absorb, depending on the severity and type of wound. The light grey side also has slits designed into the foam to increase the rate of absorption and capture loosed slough, non-viable tissue and biofilms. The ergonomic triangular shape pad provides maximum comfort when used and allows wounds in hard-to-reach areas to also be treated.
