Mepital One is a one- sided, soft silicone wound contact layer, that is gentle, durable and safe to use to optimise an undisturbed healing process. It reduces pain and skin discomfort at dressing removal, while promoting non-adherence to the moist wound bed, but to the dry skin only. Its transparent net enables optimal wound assessment avoiding unnecessary dressing changes, since it can remain in place for up to 14 days.
