Xeroform Petrolatum Gauze Dressings provide soothing, non-adherent wound protection with convenience and minimal mess. Designed to cling and conform to body contours, the dressing supports comfortable application across a range of suitable wound sites.
Each sterile dressing is impregnated with petrolatum to help reduce adherence to the wound surface. Xeroform also contains 3% bismuth tribromophenate, a deodorising agent that helps freshen as it protects. It may be used as an initial layer in surgical dressings, on skin graft sites, for first-degree burns, abrasions and as wound packing, where clinically appropriate.
