Mepilex® Transfer is a conformable exudate transfer dressing that moves exudate away from the wound into a secondary absorbent dressing. Used in combination with an appropriate secondary dressing, it maintains a moist wound environment. The dressing has a Safetac® soft silicone wound contact layer, an adhesive technology developed by Mölnlycke that allows removal without adhering to the wound bed. It is indicated for wounds including venous leg ulcers, large wounds, and wounds on areas associated with fragile skin.
