The Allevyn Ag Adhesive is an antimicrobial absorbent 3 layer dressing that consists of a Silver Sulfadiazine (SSD). This contains an absorbent hydrocellular pad between a perforated adhesive wound contact layer and a waterproof outer layer.
This Antimicrobial Dressing is suitable for the management of secondary wound healing, infected wounds, chronic and acute full thickness wounds, partial thickness or shallow granulating wounds. It is also ideal for exuding wounds such as pressure ulcers, venous ulcers, diabetic ulcers, superficial dermal burns, donor site, fungating wounds, or surgical dehisced wounds.
