PROLENE® Polypropylene Sutures are non-absorbable and sterile surgical, composed of an isotactic crystalline steroisomer of polypropylene, a synthetic linear polyolefin. The sutures are blue pigmented to increase visibility. PROLENE® is unidirectional with reverse cutting needle point. PROLENE® is suitable for use in general soft tissue approximation and ligation in cardiovascular, ophthalmic, and neurological procedures.
