Coated VICRYL™ Plus Suture with IRGACARE® MP (triclosan) are effective against the pathogens most commonly associated with Surgical site infection such as Staphylococcus aureus, Staphylococcus epidermidis, Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) and Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureusepidermidis (MRSE).
VICRYL™ Plus Suture is an absorbable, sterile, antibacterial suture that is constructed from a braided polyglactin 910 material. VICRYL™ Plus Suture is indicated for use in general soft tissue approximation and/or ligation, including use in Opthalmic procedures.
