The SAM® Pelvic Sling II Small (SVSP-S) is a single-use circumferential pelvic belt designed to support the temporary stabilisation of suspected pelvic ring injuries in emergency, pre-hospital and acute care settings. It uses a force-controlled design to help apply the appropriate circumferential compression without over- or under-tightening when used according to manufacturer instructions.
Compact, durable and quick to apply, the SAM Pelvic Sling II supports a simple three-step application process: insert the belt, pull the strap and secure. Its narrow, radiolucent construction allows X-rays and CT imaging to be performed without removing the sling, with the exception of the buckle’s stainless steel springs.
