Sodium Bicarbonate 8.4% Injections are sterile and is administered to patients intravenously via a central line or injected directly into a vein. The injection is not recommended for intramuscular administration. The dosage is 100 ml but the amount which is given to a patient can vary depending on the medical situation and the directions given by a doctor.
