Luer Activated Valve allows for easy multiple access with Luer lock syringes or Luer slip. The Luer Activated Valve includes a Luer device which mechanically opens a silicone diaphragm in the valve to check up on flow, allowing for up to 400mL/min of bi-directional flow upon turning the device on. Safsite is made for use with Luer slip and Luer lock connectors. A secure connection is ensured by a small push, as well with Luer slip syringes. It is suitable for withdrawing blood, and the dispensation of drugs and infusion solution.
