B.Braun Sterile Water for Injection MPC 10 mL Ampoule is a clear, odourless liquid. It is free of bacteriostatic or antibacterial agents, sterile, hypotonic, and pyrogenic. After being made roughly isotonic by the addition of an appropriate solute, it is a diluent or solvent suitable for intravascular injection.
Other parenteral medications can also be diluted or solved using sterile water for injection USP. As a result, it helps with hydration when used in parenteral medication and fluid therapy, provided the right additives and/or solutes are added to approximate isotonicity.
