Multistix 5 Reagent Strips is tool that is used to check the levels of five different constituents in the urine of patients who are pregnant. It can also be used in patients who are not pregnant.

The Multistix 5 tests for the presence of:

• glucose
• nitrite,
• leukocytes
• blood
• protein

It is used to detect problems in pregnant women such as urinary tract infections, dehydration, and the development of gestational diabetes.
