• Why is the colour of the pulp gray?

  No bleach or dyes are added which helps to keep the cost low and makes the product environmentally friendly.

  There is also no danger of any dyes or chemicals leaching out of the product during use, protecting patient and nurse safety.

• How long is Vernacare pulp guaranteed to hold water/urine/fluids? 

  Vernacare pulp is guaranteed to hold water/urine/fluids for 4 hours, except for the Washbowl that is guaranteed for 2 hours.

• Is Vernacare pulp tested to any standard?

  Vernacare pulp is the only pulp in the world  tested by BSI Kitemark testing.

• I don’t have a macerator, how do I  dispose of the pulp?

  The Vernacare pulp is designed to be disposed of in a macerator however if you do not have one, the pulp can be disposed of in your normal waste as per your waste protocol.
